We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team in Kirkintilloch, Dunbartonshire. As part of our vibrant and growing veterinary practice, you will provide exceptional veterinary care to animals while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Location: Kirkintilloch, Dunbartonshire
Working Hours: Ideally this is a full-time position with the flexibility of a 4 or 5-day working week, accommodating to your lifestyle and shift patterns that adapt based on your chosen week structure. Embrace a 1 in 5 Saturday Rota from 8:30am to 12pm, with no out-of-hours commitments. We welcome applicants looking for part time hours.
Salary: Up to £30,500 DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
- Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
- Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
- Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
