We are currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a well-established veterinary practice in Surrey. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a fantastic opportunity to work with a passionate team in a supportive environment.
Role Details
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Weekend Work: 1 in 6 full weekends or 1 in 3 Saturdays
- Salary: £30,000 to £32,000 per year, depending on experience
- Additional Benefits: Funded certificate opportunities, VDS and RCVS fees paid, plus other excellent benefits
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to a wide variety of animals.
- Assist in surgery and consultations, supporting the veterinary team.
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarians.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure a smooth flow of daily operations.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners, offering advice and support when needed.
- Ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in the clinic.
Requirements
- Registered Veterinary Nurse with RCVS membership.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for animal welfare.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a similar veterinary nursing role is preferred, but new graduates will be considered.
