GLG Vets is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon for a well-established practice in Southampton. This role offers the flexibility to choose between full-time or part-time hours, accommodating your lifestyle while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Location: Southampton
Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time
Salary: £44,000 - £59,000 per annum (including allowances, pro-rata for part-time hours)
Key Features of the Role:
- Flexible working options, with early shifts (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) and late shifts (10:30 AM - 7:00 PM) available.
- Shared weekend rota (1:8), offering enhanced pay and lieu time the following week.
- Support from Animal Care Assistants for hospitalised patients.
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified and RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Commitment to delivering the highest standard of care to patients and clients.
Benefits Include:
- CPD: One week and £1,000 annual allowance, plus access to a range of internal CPD programs.
- Holidays: 25 days (excluding Bank Holidays) with the ability to buy/sell up to 5 additional days per year. Additional holiday entitlement after two years of service.
