GLG Vets is proud to be working with a well-established veterinary practice in Kent to find an experienced and dedicated Night Veterinary Nurse to join their team. This role offers an excellent work-life balance, with a unique rota structure of 7 nights on and 14 nights off. The salary is competitive, offered on a pro-rata basis, ensuring fair compensation for your hard work.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients during overnight shifts, with full support from the wider veterinary team. The practice is committed to providing the best possible care and development opportunities for its staff, and as such, offers various professional growth opportunities.

Location: Kent

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per year (pro rata)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emergency care and treatment to animals overnight
  • Monitor patients, administer treatments, and provide pain relief as required
  • Ensure the smooth running of the clinic during night shifts
  • Work closely with the veterinary team to deliver excellent standards of care
  • Maintain accurate medical records and assist with clinic administration as needed

Requirements:

  • RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse
  • Previous experience working in a veterinary practice, with a passion for night shifts
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
  • Commitment to providing the best care for animals
  • Funded certificate opportunities to further develop your veterinary nursing skills
  • VDS, RCVS, and BVA fees paid
