An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a well-established and supportive team at a busy veterinary practice in Crawley, West Sussex. As part of a dynamic team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to both patients and clients while working in a fully equipped, modern environment.
Hours:
- We offer flexible working patterns:
- Option to work five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts
- Weekends on a 1 in 6 basis
Team Structure:
- You will be joining a dedicated team consisting of:
- 2 Veterinary Surgeons (including a new graduate)
- 1 Head Nurse
- 2 Student Nurses
- 1 Veterinary and Client Care Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent nursing care for a range of animals, including routine and emergency cases
- Assist in surgical procedures, diagnostic imaging, and treatments
- Support the veterinary team in consultations and client care
- Maintain accurate patient records and provide timely updates to clients
- Deliver high standards of animal welfare and promote a positive experience for pet owners
- Help with day-to-day running of the practice and assist in training student nurses
What We're Looking For:
- Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with RCVS membership
- Enthusiastic and compassionate individual with a passion for animal care
- Strong communication skills, both with clients and the team
- Previous experience in a veterinary practice is preferred, but not essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
