Veterinary Surgeon in Cowbridge

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy, well-equipped small animal practice in the Vale of Glamorgan. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic team environment while providing high-quality care to pets in the local community.

Salary

£50,000 to £55,000 per annum

Employment Type

Full-time (37 hours per week over 4 days, 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM, with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Providing excellent care through consulting and performing surgeries.
• Working as part of a dedicated team, including 3 Vets, RVNs, SVNs, and Receptionists.
• Managing a wide range of medical and surgical cases, offering a varied and fulfilling caseload.
• Utilising state-of-the-art facilities, including two operating theatres, imaging, dental x-ray, and laser.
• Offering support and guidance to junior staff when required.

Key Requirements

• Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with RCVS registration.
• Experience in general practice and surgery is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for client care.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently when required.
