Working Hours

Ideally looking for full‑time hours, but happy to work with you to find a pattern that works for both of us. The weekends are on a 1 in 3 rota basis with limited cover to keep it fair for everyone.

Salary

£60,000

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
• Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
• Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
• Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
• Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
• Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
