Floreat Wandsworth Primary School is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant who has a passion for supporting young people, helping to enhance their learning, and nurture their social and emotional development.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our growing, diverse and welcoming Primary School on a temporary (maternity cover) contract. Our school has a passion and understanding of what effective learning is, and we help to inspire our pupils to be the best they can be. In return for your hard work we can offer excellent CPD opportunities and the support of a strong collaborative team.
What we are looking for:
- Experience of working with children with SEN is preferred but not essential.
- A passion for working with primary aged children in a 1:1 and a group scenario, and a determination that they will become knowledgeable and virtuous.
- A desire to work with honesty, perseverance and curiosity, and in service of all the learners in our school.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to manage pupils in a positive and calm way so that they achieve the highest standards in their learning.
