We are looking for a highly organised, efficient and compassionate Admin Assistant to the SENCO to join our team on a part time, temporary maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy school environment and is passionate about supporting high‐quality SEND provision.

Your opportunity

Working closely with our SENCO, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth coordination of SEND processes, from managing referrals and maintaining accurate records to preparing key documentation and liaising with families, staff and external agencies. Your contribution will help us deliver the very best support for our pupils with special educational needs.

What we're looking for:

  • Good General Education including English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent
  • Appropriate experience in administration (in a school setting would be desirable but not essential)
  • Advanced IT skills
  • Able to plan and prioritise regular and irregular tasks
  • Ability to remain professional and maintain confidentiality at all times

The Details

Start Date: June 2026
Salary: GLF Associate 3 - £25,001
Actual Salary: £11,530.79
Hours: 19.5 hours per week, term time only.
