As CEO you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of GLF Schools in partnership with the Board, embedding a culture of excellence, innovation and collaboration, and ensuring organisational sustainability and growth. You will be a compelling ambassador for the Trust, inspiring staff, pupils, parents and wider stakeholders, and forging strong partnerships with the wider education community, local authorities and other sector bodies.

Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of a bold strategic vision for the Trust, aligned with its core values and long‐term ambitions.
- Ensure educational excellence and continuous improvement across all schools in the trust, with a sharp focus on pupil outcomes, wellbeing and inclusion.
- Foster a culture of professional development, empowerment and shared leadership, attracting, retaining and developing outstanding leaders and staff.
- Act as the principal spokesperson and ambassador for the Trust, cultivating strong relationships with local stakeholders, funders, regulators and the education ecosystem.
- Ensure robust governance, financial health and operational excellence, supporting the Board in fulfilling its responsibilities and managing risk effectively.
- Promote innovation, collaboration and best practice within and beyond the Trust, ensuring that GLF Schools remains at the forefront of educational thinking and service delivery.
- Significant experience at senior leadership or executive level in education, ideally within a multi‐academy trust or similarly complex organisation.
- Strategic insight, commercial acumen and sound judgement, with the ability to translate vision into operational reality.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; you build credibility quickly, lead by example, and are a persuasive advocate for staff, pupils and the community.
- A commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion and social justice, and the ability to embed these principles into everything the Trust does.
- Resilience, adaptability and a collaborative mindset: able to thrive in a dynamic, challenging environment and inspire others to do the same.
