Cuddington Croft Primary School is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant who has a passion for supporting young people, helping to enhance their learning, and nurture their social and emotional development.

Your opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual who is passionate about supporting the development of children in our school. The successful candidate will assist the Class Teachers in the delivery of learning activities, be responsible for the care of children, help with the day to day running of school activities and help to supervise behaviour at break and lunch times.

What we are looking for

Cuddington Croft Primary School is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant, who, with guidance from the Class Teacher, will be responsible for the support, learning and development of our children. The right candidate will have A-C (or equivalent) in Maths and English GCSEs and to have worked in a similar role before. We are interested in hearing from all candidates, no matter what point in your career you are currently at. Experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided. This role would be ideal for someone looking for a career change and working hours which fit in with family life, or for someone looking to begin a career in education or childcare as it will offer you a broad range of hands-on experience and the perfect entry point into the profession.

About Cuddington Croft Primary School

Our School sits within a newly established cluster of Primary schools, overseen by a Regional Director. Along with Cuddington Croft Primary School, our cluster includes the following other schools; The Vale Primary School, Banstead Infant School, Warren Mead Infant and Junior Schools, Danetree Primary School and Floreat Wandsworth Primary School. This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues across this cluster, to share expertise and experience, ensuring all children in our schools receive an excellent education and reach their potential. It also provides opportunities for career progression across the cluster and gives you the chance to further your professional development.

  • Start Date: 5th January 2026
  • Salary: £23,651 FTE
  • Actual Salary: £17,005.53
  • Hours: Monday – Friday 8.40am - 3.15pm - 38.6wks/yr (term time plus INSET)
  • Closing Date: Monday 1st December at 9.30am
  • Interview Date: W/C 1st December 2025
