Warlingham Village Primary School is seeking an inspiring and committed Headteacher to build on Warlingham’s remarkable success and lead the school confidently into its next chapter.

Your Opportunity

As Headteacher, you will lead Warlingham Village Primary School, a caring, inclusive and ambitious school at the heart of its village community. Recently judged Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted (January 2025), the school provides a strong platform from which you will build on existing strengths, set clear strategic direction and continue to drive excellence in teaching, learning and outcomes for all pupils.

You will nurture a positive professional culture where staff are supported, challenged and empowered to grow, underpinned by robust safeguarding and accountability. This rewarding headship will suit a leader who values close partnerships with parents, governors and the wider community, and who believes that strong relationships and a genuine sense of belonging are central to an outstanding primary education.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a large Multi Academy Trust that comprises 43 schools (Primary and Secondary) across the Southeast of England with a large central team of talented and passionate specialists.

What We Are Looking for:

  • An experienced senior leader (Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher or equivalent) with a strong primary background
  • A proven track record of raising standards and securing excellent outcomes for all pupils
  • A clear understanding of high‑quality teaching, learning and curriculum across the primary phase
  • Strong leadership of people, with experience of performance management, coaching and team development
  • The ability to manage resources, staffing and budgets effectively and sustainably
  • A confident communicator who builds positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents, governors and partners
  • A resilient, reflective and values‑driven leader committed to inclusion, equity and safeguarding
  • A passion for professional development - for yourself and for others

About Warlingham Village Primary School

Warlingham Village Primary School is a thriving one-form entry primary school serving children aged 4–11, set at the heart of the Warlingham community in Surrey. Our School sits within an established cluster of Primary schools, known as the Chalklands Cluster, which is overseen by a Regional Director. Along with Warlingham Village, our cluster includes the following other schools; Chestnut Park Primary School, Whyteleafe Primary School, Hillcroft Primary School, and Marden Lodge Primary School.

Pay Range: GLF Leadership Range – L13 - L19

Contract type: Full time, Permanent
