Your Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join The Beacon School as a Cover Supervisor. We are looking for an efficient and organised person to support the smooth operation of the school through delivering planned lessons to our students. The successful candidate will deliver lessons to full class groups (based on pre-prepared work), manage the classroom environment to promote good behaviour for learning, and liaise with teaching colleagues on their return to ensure a seamless handover so that continuity of learning is sustained at a high level for our students. Adaptability, resilience and the ability to think on your feet are essential in this varied and evolving role, and an ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people. Strong ICT skills and a good command of English and Maths are necessities.

- Start Date: January 2026
- Salary: Specialist Point 2 - FTE £27,318
- Actual Salary: £23,501.51
- Hours: 36hrs a week - Monday to Friday (39 weeks per year)
- Contract: Permanent
