Qualifications
- A UK bachelor's degree (2:2 or above, although some 3rd class degrees may be considered)

- Some relevant school experience and a host school
You’ll also gain practical, hands-on experience across a variety of settings, including Early Years, Primary, or Secondary (depending on your chosen phase).
Salaried Route (Employment-Based)
- 10-month course
- You are employed full-time (32.5 hrs/week) on the Unqualified Teacher Pay Scale
- The school pays tuition fees for QTS
- Option to add PGCE for £500 (trainee-funded)
- For this route, you will need some classroom-based experience of teaching in a school
- You would need a school to employ you as a salaried trainee teacher
Postgraduate Teacher Apprentice Route (Employment-Based)
- 10-month course
- You are employed full-time (32.5 hrs/week) on the Unqualified Teacher Pay Scale
- The training fees are paid by your employer's training levy pot
- For this route, you will need some classroom-based experience in a school
- You would need a school to employ you as an apprentice
Fee-Funded Route – Unpaid training placement, but eligible for:
- Tuition Fee Loan (up to full cost)
- Maintenance Loan (up to ~£13,000)
- Tax-free DfE bursaries (for shortage secondary subjects) paid directly to the trainee to cover tuition fees

- £9,290 (QTS only) - additional cost for PGCE
