We are seeking a vigilant and attentive Surveillance Operator to monitor designated areas using advanced surveillance equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining security, observing activities, and ensuring the safety of personnel and property. Responsibilities
- Monitor live feeds from surveillance cameras across various locations to detect suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Maintain constant vigilance to ensure the safety of personnel, visitors, and property.
- Document incidents, observations, and irregularities through detailed report writing for management review.
- Respond promptly to emergencies by initiating appropriate protocols and providing first aid if required.
- Conduct regular checks on surveillance equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any malfunctions or technical issues.
- Collaborate with security personnel and law enforcement agencies as needed to address security concerns effectively.
- Follow organisational policies and procedures related to security operations and incident management.
Qualifications
- Valid SIA CCTV Licence (essential)
- Proven experience in surveillance operations or security monitoring is preferred.
- Strong report writing skills with the ability to document incidents clearly and accurately.
- Basic knowledge of first aid procedures and the ability to respond calmly in emergency situations.
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to remain alert during long shifts, maintaining focus over extended periods.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective reporting and coordination.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required, including nights or weekends if necessary.
