Our range includes limited‑edition Highland single malt Scotch whiskies, craft gin, and rare cask‑matured releases sold direct and via select stockists.
Role Summary
GlenWyvis seeks a proactive, commercially skilled Sales Manager to lead and grow all revenue streams for the distillery. This is a hands‑on commercial leadership role responsible for developing export channels, UK trade partnerships, local Scottish stockist networks, and direct‑to‑consumer (B2C) sales. The successful candidate will combine strategic planning with practical execution, representing GlenWyvis at industry events and expanding brand presence in markets aligned with our community values.
Key Responsibilities

Prioritise markets with strong potential for craft spirits, single malt Scotch, and artisanal products.
- Export & International Growth: Identify and engage overseas distributors, import partners, and regional agents. Lead negotiations, terms agreements, and territory management for export growth.
- Domestic & Local Trade: Build and manage relationships with UK wholesalers, specialist whisky retailers, hospitality accounts, and Highland stockists. Develop account plans, pricing strategies, and promotional programmes tailored to trade partners and account management. Drive direct‑to‑consumer revenue through GlenWyvis online shop, cask‑ownership programmes, tasting events, membership‑linked offers, loyalty and subscription type initiatives. Collaborate with marketing and membership teams to convert community enthusiasm into sales growth.
- Brand Representation: Represent GlenWyvis at trade shows, whisky festivals, local events, and investor/member gatherings, articulating the brand story, sustainability credentials, and community values. Support distillery‑led initiatives including environmental programmes and community events.
- Commercial & Operational Leadership: Develop sales forecasts, performance reporting, and pricing models relevant to a community‑owned craft producer. Coordinate with production, compliance, and logistics to ensure supply alignment with sales commitments and desired release schedules. Monitor regulatory requirements including UK excise, export documentation, and whisky labelling standards.
