Summary: Client is seeking experienced PCB Layout Engineers to support electronic control system development activities under an off-load engineering strategy.

The selected engineers will be responsible for PCB layout and design activities for one or more PCB development projects, ensuring that component placement, routing, power distribution, and manufacturing requirements are fully met. \n The role requires engineers to work onsite at the client site using client-provided IT infrastructure and engineering tools.

The engineer will collaborate closely with client electronics, hardware, and systems engineering teams to deliver high-quality PCB layouts that comply with design, electrical, manufacturing, and reliability requirements. \n Key Responsibilities \n \n

  • Develop PCB layouts for electronic control and Embedded hardware products. \n
  • Perform component placement considering electrical, thermal, mechanical, EMC/EMI, and manufacturing constraints. \n
  • Route signal, power, and ground connections according to design guidelines and project requirements. \n
  • Create and maintain multilayer PCB designs, ensuring optimal signal integrity and power integrity. \n
  • Implement design rules and constraints provided by engineering teams. \n
  • Support design reviews and incorporate feedback from hardware, system, and manufacturing engineers. \n
  • Generate PCB fabrication and assembly outputs in accordance with project standards. \n
  • Ensure compliance with quality, reliability, and documentation requirements. \n
  • Collaborate effectively with hardware design engineers to resolve layout-related issues. \n
  • Support PCB design iterations resulting from engineering change requests. \n
  • Participate in technical reviews and project status meetings. \n \n Deliverables \n The PCB layout work package will be considered complete when: \n \n
  • All electronic components are placed in approved board locations. \n
  • Signal traces, power planes, and ground planes are routed according to design requirements. \n
  • PCB design-rule checks (DRC) have been successfully completed. \n
  • Manufacturing and assembly requirements have been satisfied. \n
  • Design files and associated documentation have been released in accordance with project procedures. \n \n Required Technical Skills Essential \n Strong experience in PCB layout and board design for complex electronic systems. \n \n
  • Experience with multilayer PCB design. \n
  • Knowledge of: \n \n o High-speed digital design principles \n \n
  • Signal integrity considerations \n
  • Power distribution and grounding techniques \n
  • EMC/EMI design practices \n
  • PCB manufacturing and assembly processes \n
  • Ability to interpret schematics and convert them into production-ready PCB layouts. \n
