Glenton’s Bakery is looking for a confident, motivated Shop Supervisor to join our team. This is a key role for someone who takes pride in great customer service, high standards, and leading by example in a busy food environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous supervisor experience is essential
  • Experience working in a food environment
  • Level 2 Food Safety qualification – If you don’t have this yet, we will provide the training
  • Confident in driving sales, motivating staff, and maintaining high shop standards
  • Able to work independently and as part of a supportive team
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage daily shop operations

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the day‑to‑day running of the shop
  • Ordering stock, managing deliveries, and keeping the shop fully stocked
  • Quality checking all products to maintain Glenton’s standards
  • Ensuring excellent cleaning routines and food safety compliance
  • Providing outstanding customer service at all times
  • Handling money, cashing up, and completing daily paperwork and filing
