Glenton’s Bakery is looking for a confident, motivated Shop Supervisor to join our team. This is a key role for someone who takes pride in great customer service, high standards, and leading by example in a busy food environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous supervisor experience is essential
- Experience working in a food environment
- Level 2 Food Safety qualification - If you don’t have this yet, we will provide the training
- Confident in driving sales, motivating staff, and maintaining high shop standards
- Able to work independently and as part of a supportive team
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage daily shop operations
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the day‑to‑day running of the shop
- Ordering stock, managing deliveries, and keeping the shop fully stocked
- Quality checking all products to maintain Glenton’s standards
- Ensuring excellent cleaning routines and food safety compliance
- Providing outstanding customer service at all times
- Handling money, cashing up, and completing daily paperwork and filing
- Supporting and guiding team members to create a positive working environment
