Bakery Assistant in Ashington

Glentons Bakery is a busy family‑run business based in Ashington that prides itself on offering a wide range of sweet & savoury products, all of which are produced in‑house.

We are now looking for a Bakery Assistant to join our team of busy bakers in a fast‑paced environment.

You will be working as part of a small team, assisting with bread production from scratch, manufacture of a range of pie and pastry products, as well as a host of other products for our shops, whilst maintaining a high level of hygiene.

Whilst preferable, experience is not essential, as full training will be given to the successful applicant. The ideal candidate will be hard‑working, reliable, with a positive attitude and able to work to a high standard in a busy environment.

The role involves a degree of heavy lifting and taking in deliveries so a good level of health & fitness is necessary.
