Reporting to the Sales Manager, the role is office based in Corsham, Wiltshire and will involve managing and developing relationships with both new and existing customers. The successful candidate will have a growth mindset with the aim of increasing sales revenue. The role also offers the potential to travel, for example to customer sites or as part of the Glentham team attending international exhibitions.
Glentham Life Sciences has been a leading manufacturer and supplier of fine chemicals and laboratory reagents for over a decade, supplying companies and institutions across the globe. We are looking to expand our sales team, and maintain the high level of quality, service and product knowledge that our customers have come to expect.

Responsibilities
- Supporting our existing customer accounts by promptly responding to enquiries and generating associated quotes with expedience
- Being proactive in arranging regular meetings with key customer contacts, encouraging repeat business whilst identifying further opportunities to increase revenue
- Proactivity in establishing new customer leads, in turn converting these to new business
- To consistently meet individual target requirements and embrace the teamwork ethos by proactively contributing to the department in its achievement of team-based goals
- The individual's main responsibilities will be focused on the quality assessment of incoming chemical goods
- The individual's main responsibilities will be to locate and pack chemical products for customer orders and carry out general warehouse maintenance tasks
Qualifications
- 1-2 years' previous experience in a similar sales role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Effective problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
- Willingness to travel as/when required
