Glent Group, a dynamic CSA specialist in Groundworks, Concrete Works, Underground Services, Structural Alterations, and External Works, is headquartered in London and operates across Europe. We are seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing and a deep understanding of financial systems. Working within the Payroll Department, and reporting into the Payroll Manager, you will be an integral part of the team supporting employees with their day-to-day queries and processing weekly advances/monthly payrolls for Glent Employees across multiple European territories, including the UK, Sweden, Ireland, Netherlands, Germany, and Finland. Applicants must be fluent in Romanian.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Collaborating with the Payroll Manager and senior stakeholders to drive improvements, including automation within the payroll function.
  • Assisting with the end-to-end processing of high-volume monthly payroll within a team.
  • Ensuring accuracy and compliance with strict payroll deadlines.
  • Processing monthly payroll data for starters, leavers, and contractual changes.
  • Managing adjustments to pay, including overtime and other variations.
  • Monitoring and supporting the management of the Payroll inbox.
  • Responding to payroll-related queries from employees in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintaining effective relationships with stakeholder groups, including outsourced payroll partners.

Skills & Experience:

  • Fluent in Romanian. (Essential)
  • 1+ years payroll experience within a busy payroll environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Collaborative and a team player, engaging and able to build strong relationships.
  • Organised and able to work under tight deadlines to meet payroll deadlines.
  • Flexible, agile, and resilient.
  • Ability to adapt style and communication to suit all levels of the business.
  • Capable of seeing the big picture while also being comfortable diving into the details when needed.
  • Self-starter who is proactive and skilled in managing time to meet deadlines.
