International HR Administrator – Romanian Speaker

Glent Group, a dynamic CSA specialist in Groundworks, Concrete Works, Underground Services, Structural Alterations, and External Works, is headquartered in London and operates across Europe. We are seeking a skilled International HR Administrator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a background in HR administration and a keen interest in international HR.

Working within the HR Department and reporting to the Head of People, you will play a key role in supporting employees with their day-to-day queries across multiple European territories, including the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Sweden, Germany, and Finland. Applicants must be fluent in Romanian.

Responsibilities of the Role:

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Screen CVs and prepare offer letters and employment contracts.
  • Collect compliance documentation and manage onboarding processes, including payroll set-up, benefits enrolment, and IT coordination.

Contract & Payroll Management

  • Draft, update, and manage employment and consultancy contracts, including extensions and transfers.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and prepare monthly payroll reports detailing starters, leavers, and contractual changes.
  • Liaise with payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely salary processing.

Offboarding

  • Coordinate the resignation process.
  • Prepare reference letters and ensure offboarding documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.

General

  • Manage the HR inbox and respond to employee queries in a timely manner.
  • Assist with payroll reporting and absence tracking.

  • Maintain the HRIS system (Staffology).

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field.
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification or currently working towards it.

Experience

  • 1–2 years of HR administration experience, ideally in a multinational or multi-jurisdictional environment.

  • Fluent in Romanian
  • Organisational & Administrative Skills: Able to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication with employees and stakeholders.
  • HR Systems & Technology Proficiency: Skilled in HRIS (Staffology) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Data Management & Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Experienced in supporting recruitment and onboarding activities.
  • Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Capable of resolving HR-related issues and making sound decisions.
  • Multicultural Awareness & Adaptability: Comfortable working across diverse cultures and adapting practices as needed.
  • Benefits Administration: Familiar with the administration of employee benefits.
  • Training & Development Support: Able to assist with employee learning and development programmes.
