Digital Engineer – Glent Group
Glent Group, a dynamic specialist in groundworks, concrete works, underground services and external works, is headquartered in London and operates across Europe. We are seeking an experienced Digital Engineer to join our team.
A Digital Engineer will support the design and delivery of underground utilities, duct banks, drainage, and reinforced concrete packages. You will develop and coordinate 3D models, produce drawings, and support clash detection to ensure construction teams have the right information at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate 3D models for underground services and reinforced concrete structures.
- Produce coordinated drawings, sections, and setting‑out information for site use.
- Support clash detection and resolution processes between services and structural elements.
- Integrate survey data and point clouds to align models with site conditions.
- Assist with construction sequences, layouts, and reinforcement detailing.
- Ensure models and drawings meet RIBA Stage deliverables and ISO 19650 requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and site teams to resolve design and coordination issues.
- Track and communicate design changes to keep the project team updated.
- Provide digital support for concrete pours, service diversions, and underground works.
- Drive innovation by implementing digital tools and workflows (Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Dynamo, etc.).
Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with Revit and Navisworks.
- Familiarity with Civil 3D for site and underground works.
- Experience modeling and coordinating underground services and reinforced concrete works.
- Understanding of ISO 19650 information management principles.
- Knowledge of survey integration (point clouds, georeferencing, coordinates).
- Ability to read, interpret, and produce civil/structural drawings.
- Organised, detail‑oriented, and proactive problem solver.
- Desirable experience in data centres, heavy civils, or infrastructure projects.
Candidate must have the right to permanently live and work in the UK.
