Full flexibility is essential for this role, as you will be required to work a variety of shifts including early morning starts for store preparation, evenings, and weekends on a rotational basis.
Due to the operational requirements of this role, which include the legal authorisation of age-restricted sales and fulfilling key-holding responsibilities under our commercial insurance and licensing agreements, all applicants must be aged 18 or over.

The Role: The Assistant Store Manager position at Greens Retail is critical, involving supporting the Store Manager in the overall management and daily operation of the store. We are looking for an individual who is proactive, embraces a challenge, and is dedicated to going above and beyond to help deliver one of the country's best convenience stores.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assuming full responsibility for store operations in the absence of the Store Manager (including periods of sickness and holidays).
- Ensuring all procedures and policies are followed to guarantee the smooth running of the store.
- Assisting with the recruitment and development of a high-performing team.
- Managing stock control, including placing food and other key orders.
- Creating and managing staff rotas efficiently.
