About The Role
We are looking for an innovative, forward-thinking Social & Digital Media Executive to join our in-house Marketing team, working with our Head of Marketing to produce and implement creative marketing content. We're looking for someone creative and proactive, with their finger on the pulse of both trends and platform updates to help us build, boost and develop our social media presence. The role is based at our Head Office in Kirkcaldy, Fife, but the ability to be mobile and visit our locations is a plus.
- Manage all social media platforms by monitoring and responding to customer comments, messages and reviews.
- Liaise with social media influencers and explore sponsorship opportunities to promote our brands.
- Create, schedule and post content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and more.
- Manage Google Business listings and update information.
- Liaising with our in-house graphic designer to create relevant graphics, images, videos and other content for social media, marketing material etc.
- Co-ordinating nationwide events such as Free Skwishee Day & Bring Your Own Cup Day.
About You
Essentials
- A proven portfolio of creative work within social & digital media, either freelance or permanent.
- Social Media Marketing experience using channels such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, etc.
- Knowledge of trending topics within social media.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- IT literacy and digital organisational skills (i.e., computerised file and folder organisation).
Desirables
- Use of software for content creation such as Canva and Adobe Photoshop.
- Experience interpreting basic statistics for reporting purposes to adapt ongoing marketing strategy.
- Experience running ad campaigns on Meta, TikTok and Google Ads.
- Experience writing copy for press releases and articles.
