Position Overview
Leading the restaurant management team and team members, you help direct the daily operations of an entire restaurant. Using business expertise and management skills, you keep both your team and your customers happy.
Functional Responsibilities
- Manage all FOH and BOH operations and equipment maintenance
- Ensure adherence to all safety, sanitation and security standards and create action plans for improvement as needed
- Maintain the financial well‑being of the operation by meeting food cost and labour goals
- Manage P&L statements following all financial control/security standards
- Adapt quickly to changing trends, market and environmental conditions and modify store plans to meet business targets
Leadership Responsibilities
- Lead with a Growth Mindset and model Smart, Heart and Courage
- Set high standards for self and others
- Recruit, hire, and bench plan
- Implement restaurant training programs for team members and management to enable them to meet performance standards, maximize performance and realize their career potential
- Oversee training, development and performance management of the restaurant team
- Build and lead the store management team and report back to the manager on performance and activities in the restaurant
Culture Responsibilities
- Create a culture of positivity and inclusivity following Yum!\’s culture and values
- Build a culture of recognition
- Build strong customer relations by engaging with all customers
- Demonstrate self‑responsibility and a helpful, upbeat, friendly and positive attitude at all times with the restaurant team and customers
- Ensure positive customer experience by taking feedback from customers and resolving complaints
Educational & Experience Requirements
- 3 years multi‑outlet food retail or service industry experience at a supervisory/management level preferred
- Proven track record of On Target performance in Balanced Scorecard KPIs (or equivalent) with primary profit responsibility
- Certified in Leading a Restaurant (LAR)
- Clear ITC check
- Ability to move between restaurants as required by Pizza Hut
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
