Team Member - Pizza Hut at Glenshire Group

We are currently recruiting for a Team Member as we add Pizza Hut to our business portfolio. This position will be based in Kirkcaldy.

Reports To: Restaurant General Manager

Position Overview: Team Members are versatile, gaining experience in customer service, food preparation, and maintaining restaurant order.

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and safety for customers and staff
  • Follow safety, sanitation, and security standards
  • Execute responsibilities at assigned stations effectively
  • Know menu items and promotions
  • Handle cash transactions safely and according to standards

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of tasks and responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor peers
  • Communicate with management to understand business needs
  • Promote Yum!’s culture and values
  • Deliver quality work and foster positive relationships
  • Anticipate customer needs and resolve complaints professionally

Educational & Experience Requirements:

  • GCSEs or equivalent in core subjects (grades A-D)
  • Experience in food retail or service preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn new skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 10 kg and move items over distances
  • Stand for 8-12 hours
  • Work in hot environments above 32°C
  • Respond in loud settings
  • Operate kitchen machinery and equipment
  • Tolerance to exposure to products and sanitizing solutions
