The Role
The Assistant Manager position at Greens Retail is critical, involving supporting the Store Manager in the overall management and daily operation of the store. We are looking for an individual who is proactive, embraces a challenge, and is dedicated to going above and beyond to help deliver one of the country's best convenience stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Assuming full responsibility for store operations in the absence of the Store Manager (including periods of sickness and holidays).
- Ensuring all procedures and policies are followed to guarantee the smooth running of the store.
- Assisting with the recruitment and development of a high-performing team.
- Managing stock control, including placing food and other key orders.
- Creating and managing staff rotas efficiently.
