As a vital part of our store team, you will be instrumental in our overnight success, ensuring a smooth transition between trading periods, maintaining high store standards, and contributing to a positive environment. The role blends customer service with essential general store support.
What You'll Do: As a Night Shift Sales Assistant, you'll be on the front lines ensuring the store is fully prepared for the morning trade. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing outstanding service, assisting customers with purchases and queries, and ensuring every interaction is positive.
- Keeping the store tidy, well-stocked, and visually appealing, ready for peak trade.
- Preparing essential items for the morning rush (e.g., bakery setup, fresh food items).
- Supporting general store tasks, including receiving deliveries, maintaining cleanliness, and general housekeeping.
- Working efficiently to support daily sales goals and ensuring smooth service during all operational hours.
What You'll Need:
- Must be 18 years or older due to the night shift working hours.
- Reliability and full flexibility to work various night shift patterns across weekdays and weekends is essential.
- Great attitude and team working skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks is essential.
- Previous experience in Food retail or food preparation is preferable.
