We are looking for an experienced senior practitioner, with great knowledge in the following:
- Current early years publications e.g. Realising the Ambition, Curriculum for Excellence etc.
- Schematic Play
- Child Development
- Theorists
A successful applicant must be able to provide high quality observations of play and learning, must also be able to document learning effectively. Applicant must have previous knowledge of responsive and intentional planning styles, and be knowledgeable on documenting children\βs work via Floorbooks.
Successful applicant would be required to do the following:
- Adhering to infection control policies and procedures (appropriate training will be given if required)
- Successfully lead a 2-5 play room β managing staff and ensuring policies are adhered to.
- Plan and implement learning experiences for children based upon interests
- Have a nurturing, caring approach to children
- Be responsible for a key group of children, ensuring that learning trackers and personal files are continuously updated, in coherence with current legislation, and our policies and procedures
- Must be flexible to take part in training out with working hours if required
Applicants must be qualified or working towards SCQF Level 9/SVQ Level 4. Lead role/senior experience is preferred.
