Glenholme Senior Living is looking for passionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistants to join our team at Halmer Court in Spalding. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced care professional who is committed to delivering outstanding person-centred care while supporting and mentoring care teams to provide the highest standards of support for our residents.
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring residents enjoy a fulfilling and meaningful life, maintaining their dignity, independence, choice, and wellbeing. Required to have an NVQ/QCF Level 3.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering high-quality person-centred care to residents
- Supporting residents with personal care and daily living activities
- Administering and recording medication safely and accurately
- Supervising and supporting Care Assistants on shift
- Leading by example and promoting best practice throughout the home
- Updating and maintaining care plans and care records
- Supporting residents with physical, emotional, and psychological wellbeing
- Building positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Promoting independence, dignity, inclusion, and choice
- Assisting with end-of-life care where required
