Are you a skilled, hands‑on maintenance professional looking for your next challenge?
Glenholme is looking for an experienced Regional Maintenance Person to join our Estates Team, supporting the specialist care services across the region.
This is more than just a maintenance role. You’ll play a vital part in keeping our services safe, compliant, functional and well presented, helping maintain welcoming environments for the people and visitors within our care.
YOUR ROLE
- Carry out a wide range of maintenance tasks, including plumbing, carpentry, decorating, general repairs and electrical maintenance within your competence.
- Complete health and safety and fire safety checks.
- Carry out regional maintenance visits, inspections and compliance reviews.
- Review maintenance documentation and submit reports to the Estates Manager.
- Maintain high standards across our buildings and grounds.
- Manage maintenance stock and supplies.
- Identify and elevate specialist works when required.
- Participate in occasional out‑of‑hours on‑call duties.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven experience in property healthcare maintenance or the building trades.
- A practical, proactive and reliable approach.
- Good health and safety awareness and IT skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
- An enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one.
Relevant trade qualifications and experience in specialist care or supported living are desirable.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Up to £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.
