Due to ongoing expansion, LPC are looking to hire an experienced Quantity Surveyor to oversee the procurement and cost management for care home and residential developments nationwide., * Attend and/or chair meetings with clients and ensure that our clients achieve their stated objectives.

Prepare financial reports including monthly CVRs

Monitor the communication of a project status.

Provide advice on suitability and preparation of contract documents.

Prepare management reports including detailed costed risk registers

Monitor performance milestones and deliverables alongside the Contracts Manager for optimal performance

Carry out full post-contract surveying duties including establishing the effect of variations, and settlement of accounts and disputes.

Identify, assess, and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies as needed.

Work closely with site teams to address any project issues and conduct risk assessments and contingency planning to address potential project challenges.

Provide day-to-day cost management of projects from estimate preparation and cost planning through to final account settlements.

Prepare and present detailed reports to clients, highlighting project status, financial performance, and risks.

Management and mentorship of junior Quantity Surveyors within the team.

5 years’ experience in a similar QS role.

Degree or Master’s qualification in Quantity Surveying or a similar subject.

Strong analytical approach to identifying and managing costs, risks and opportunities.

Prior experience of working in a quantity surveying/ cost management role carrying out full pre and post-contract duties in a client-facing role.

Experience of working on large-scale projects from conception through to completion.

Strong client-facing and stakeholder engagement skills.

Familiar with common forms of contracts JCT and NEC.
