The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.

Due to ongoing expansion, LPC are looking to hire an experienced Quantity Surveyor to oversee the procurement and cost management for care home and residential developments nationwide., * Attend and/or chair meetings with clients and ensure that our clients achieve their stated objectives.

  • Prepare financial reports including monthly CVRs

  • Monitor the communication of a project status.

  • Provide advice on suitability and preparation of contract documents.

  • Prepare management reports including detailed costed risk registers

  • Monitor performance milestones and deliverables alongside the Contracts Manager for optimal performance

  • Carry out full post-contract surveying duties including establishing the effect of variations, and settlement of accounts and disputes.

  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies as needed.

  • Work closely with site teams to address any project issues and conduct risk assessments and contingency planning to address potential project challenges.

  • Provide day-to-day cost management of projects from estimate preparation and cost planning through to final account settlements.

  • Prepare and present detailed reports to clients, highlighting project status, financial performance, and risks.

  • Management and mentorship of junior Quantity Surveyors within the team.

  • 5 years’ experience in a similar QS role.

  • Degree or Master’s qualification in Quantity Surveying or a similar subject.

  • Strong analytical approach to identifying and managing costs, risks and opportunities.

  • Prior experience of working in a quantity surveying/ cost management role carrying out full pre and post-contract duties in a client-facing role.

  • Experience of working on large-scale projects from conception through to completion.

  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Familiar with common forms of contracts JCT and NEC.

Duties of a Quantity Surveyor:

  • Demonstrable experience in carrying out tender and procurement processes.

  • Lead all aspects of quantity surveying service on the projects.
