The Role
We’re looking for a Training and Development Coordinator to lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of learning programmes across our services. Based at our Head Office in Eton, you’ll ensure all staff are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to deliver outstanding care while meeting regulatory and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Training Delivery & Coordination
- Organise training provided by internal trainers
- Coordinate external training providers and manage bookings
- Ensure training reflects current legislation, CQC standards, and best practice
- Compliance & Record-Keeping
- Manage the LMS, tracking training completion and certification across all services
- Produce compliance reports for internal leadership and external inspections
- Ensure training matrices are accurate and up to date
- Manage returns for external funders
- Learning & Development Support
- Identify training needs through staff feedback, appraisals, and service audits
- Support managers in developing individual learning plans for team members
- Promote apprenticeships, NVQs/diplomas, and continuing professional development opportunities
- Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, observation, and outcome tracking
- Stay current with sector developments, including Care Certificate standards and Skills for Care frameworks
- Contribute to a positive learning culture that supports staff retention and career progression
About You
Essential
- Experience delivering training in a health or social care setting
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and the Care Certificate
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confident communicator, comfortable presenting to groups of varying sizes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with training databases or LMS platforms
- Willingness to travel between sites
Desirable
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or equivalent
- Assessor qualification (e.g., CAVA, A1)
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience with e‑learning platforms
