Senior Care Assistant - Nights
Location: Glenholme Thimbleby Court
Hours: 3 x 12 hour shifts per week (breaks unpaid)
Rate: £13.25 per hour

We are now looking for an experienced and caring Senior Care Assistant to join our team and help lead by example.

What You’ll Need
NVQ or QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care
Level 3 preferred or willingness to complete
Strong communication and leadership skills
A genuine passion for working with older adults
Confidence supervising and supporting care staff
Your Role as a Senior Care Assistant
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will support residents to live with dignity, independence, and choice while ensuring high standards of care are maintained across the service. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting and guiding care staff during shifts
Ensuring residents’ personal, physical, and emotional care needs are met
Administering medication in line with care plans and training
Developing, reviewing, and updating care plans
Maintaining accurate records and documentation
Building trusting relationships with residents and their families
Promoting inclusion, respect, and person centred care
Leading by example and contributing to a positive team culture
You will play an important role in supporting residents with daily living activities, providing emotional support, and delivering compassionate end of life care where required, while working closely with families to ensure they feel involved and part of the Glenholme family.
