The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting residents to maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.
You will lead by example, supporting and supervising care staff while ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered at all times.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting residents with daily living activities
- Administering and recording medication in line with company procedures
- Supervising and mentoring Care Assistants
- Developing, reviewing, and updating care plans
- Supporting residents with personal care and emotional wellbeing
- Working closely with families and healthcare professionals
- Promoting independence, choice, dignity, and inclusion
- Supporting residents receiving end‑of‑life care
- Maintaining accurate care records and documentation
- Ensuring high standards of safeguarding and person‑centred care
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience working within adult social care
- Has experience supervising or leading care teams
- Is compassionate, reliable, and person‑centred in their approach
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills
- Is passionate about delivering outstanding care
- Works well as part of a team and can lead by example
