Haddon House supports adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in a calm, structured, and nurturing environment, promoting independence, choice, and dignity at every stage of their journey. The service is well-established with a strong staff team, clear routines, and a focus on Positive Behaviour Support (PBS). About the Role
As a Care Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Registered Manager to deliver high-quality, person-centred care at Haddon House. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and motivating a team of Support Workers to deliver exceptional, person-centred care
- Supporting staff with Positive Behaviour Support strategies and best practice
- Ensuring daily operations run smoothly and consistently across the service
- Acting as a role model for safeguarding, dignity, and professional standards
- Supporting the development, review, and implementation of individual support plans
- Assisting with rotas, supervisions, and contributing to on‑call responsibilities
About You
- Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a care setting
- A proactive, solution‑focused approach with strong communication skills
- Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)
- A genuine passion for supporting people to live meaningful, fulfilling lives
- Confidence in leading by example and supporting team development
