Although prior experience as a Support Worker is ideal, it is not mandatory as full training and enhanced specialist training is available.

They are trained, skilled, experienced and highly qualified professionals who work as part of a team to carry out a range of tasks and duties to support individuals with the physical and mental aspects of their health condition. Complex Care Support Workers enable those who are vulnerable to live an independent life whilst providing individualised, compassionate care.
Duties of a Support Worker:
- Companionship

Where you will be working: Birchwood Lodge is a specialist supported living service, designed to meet the unique needs of individuals with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and complex behaviours that may challenge. Our service is focused on enabling residents to live independent and meaningful lives as active members of the community.
