Glenholme Healthcare is seeking an experienced, organised, and motivated Head Housekeeper to lead the domestic team at Thimbleby Court in Horncastle. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the home maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control, creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

We provide person centred care that focuses on comfort, dignity, safety, and wellbeing in a homely environment. The housekeeping team plays a vital role in maintaining high standards that directly impact residents’ quality of life.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Leading and supervising the housekeeping and domestic team to ensure high standards are consistently maintained
- Organising and allocating daily and weekly cleaning schedules
- Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home, in line with infection control procedures
- Monitoring stock levels of cleaning materials and equipment and reporting requirements
- Ensuring safe storage and use of cleaning products and equipment
- Being responsible for keys and maintaining the security and integrity of areas being cleaned
- Completing quality checks and audits of cleaning standards
- Reporting maintenance issues promptly and following procedures
- Supporting with cleaning duties when required, including bedrooms, bathrooms, communal areas, and back of house areas
- Working closely with the management team to ensure the environment remains safe, compliant, and welcoming
