Hours: Full-time opportunities available for up to 37.5 hours per week

Shifts: Day shifts, fully flexible between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm, alternate weekends

At Glenholme Specialist Healthcare, our supported living service in Finchley provides high-quality, person-centred support for adults living with learning disabilities and mental health conditions.

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily lives, promoting independence, building confidence, and helping them engage with their local community. You will provide practical and emotional support while encouraging choice, dignity, and inclusion.

• Salary increase to £12.85 per hour upon completion of our paid-for Care Certificate (industry-recognised qualification)

Duties of a Support Worker

• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Supporting with personal care where required
• Promoting and encouraging independent living skills
• Administering and managing medication
• Supporting individuals to access the community and participate in activities
• Accompanying individuals to appointments and social outings
• Maintaining accurate care records and documentation
• Reporting concerns and escalating incidents appropriately
• Promoting independence, dignity, choice, and inclusion
• Supporting individuals to achieve their personal goals and outcomes
• Following care plans, risk assessments, and support guidelines
• Helping to maintain a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment
