Salary: £13.00 per hour
Hours: 33 hours per week, including alternate weekends

Your Role as a Care Assistant

This is more than a job – it’s an opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of our residents.

As a Care Assistant, you will support residents to live as independently as possible while maintaining their dignity, choice and wellbeing.

Your main duties will include:

  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Supporting residents with personal care and hygiene
  • Assisting residents with mobility around the home
  • Supporting with medication
  • General housework, cleaning and tidying
  • Preparing meals and supporting residents with eating
  • Encouraging residents to remain active and involved in activities
  • Supporting residents to participate in community and home-based activities
  • Building positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues

Where You’ll Be Working

Glenholme Senior Living Bispham Gardens is located in a peaceful residential area of Blackpool.

Our home provides care for mature and older people with varying needs, including dementia, nursing and end-of-life care.

The home has 52 beds, with an additional 24-room expansion opened in 2021. You’ll be joining a compassionate and experienced team who put residents at the heart of everything they do.
