About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, and committed Registered Nurse (RGN) to join our excellent team at Bispham Gardens in Blackpool. This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about delivering outstanding, person-centred care for older people within a warm, supportive, and forward-thinking environment. As a Registered Nurse at Bispham Gardens, you will play a key role in ensuring residents receive the highest standards of clinical care while promoting dignity, independence, wellbeing, and quality of life. You will work closely with care teams, healthcare professionals, residents, and families to ensure safe and effective care delivery at all times.

Key Responsibilities of a Registered Nurse

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care in line with individual care plans and clinical needs
  • Administer medication safely and accurately in accordance with NMC guidelines
  • Monitor residents’ physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing
  • Support and supervise care staff within the home
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
  • Work collaboratively with GPs, healthcare professionals, and families
  • Promote person-centred care and positive resident outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, infection control, and medication management procedures
  • Respond effectively to emergencies and changes in residents’ conditions
  • Support audits, quality assurance, and continuous improvement within the service

What We Are Looking For

  • A valid NMC PIN as a Registered General Nurse (RGN)
  • Previous experience working within elderly care, nursing home, or care home settings is desirable
  • A strong understanding of person-centred care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
