About the Role

Are you an experienced Support Worker looking for your next opportunity, or do you have a genuine passion for helping others and want to start a rewarding career in care? At Glenholme Brighton Services, we are dedicated to supporting individuals with learning disabilities to live happy, fulfilling, and independent lives. We’re currently recruiting Support Workers for our Saltdean services offering both day and night shifts. A full UK driving licence and previous experience in care are essential for this role.

Pay and Progression

  • £12.25 per hour – Flat rate for all new starters
  • £12.35 per hour – For existing and verified Care Certificate holders or complete one with us (all costs covered by Glenholme)
  • £12.45 per hour – For existing and verified Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification holders or gain one with us (all costs covered by Glenholme)

About Our Brighton Services

Our supported living homes in Saltdean offer comfortable, modern environments featuring spacious ensuite rooms, warm communal lounges, kitchens, and large gardens, along with sensory and “chill out” activity rooms. Located in a peaceful residential area with excellent transport links — including direct routes into the centre of Brighton — our services encourage community connection and promote independence, choice, and inclusion for the people we support.

Main Duties

  • Providing personal care and companionship
  • Supporting daily living and promoting independence
  • Administering medication and maintaining records
  • Assisting with community-based activities (e.g., shopping, swimming, cinema, walks)
  • Encouraging and enabling individuals to achieve their goals
