What You'll Do: With the right training and support, you will help promote independence, choice, inclusion, and dignity for the people we support. Every day you will make a meaningful difference and become much more than a Support Worker – you will become a trusted companion and advocate.
Duties of a Support Worker:
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Supporting with personal care
- Teaching and encouraging independent living skills
- Administering and managing medication
- Supporting community access and activities, including swimming, social events, shopping, and leisure pursuits
- Promoting independence, choice, and inclusion
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting concerns appropriately
- Supporting individuals to achieve their personal goals and outcomes
