Senior Care Assistant
Location: Glenholme Halmer Court, Spalding, PE11 2EL
Salary: £12.50 per hour + excellent benefits (subject to terms and conditions)
Contract Type: Full-time opportunities available – Night shifts

At Glenholme Halmer Court, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional care and creating a warm, inclusive environment for both our residents and staff. We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team in Spalding.

This role involves leading care staff during the night shift, ensuring that residents receive high-quality, person-centred care in a supportive and respectful setting.

Requirements:
NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care (minimum)

Working towards or willing to undertake Level 3 qualification

Experience in a care environment and leading a team

A caring, professional, and reliable approach to your work

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care and support to residents during the night

Supervise and support night care staff

Assist with medication administration and record-keeping

Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans

Ensure the dignity, privacy, and choice of all residents

Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues

About Halmer Court:
Located in the heart of Spalding, Halmer Court is a well-established care home offering a high standard of residential care for older people. With 61 ensuite bedrooms and a dedicated team led by Home Manager Victoria, Halmer Court is a warm and welcoming place to live and work.
