What You'll Need

  • NVQ or QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care, Level 3 preferred or willingness to complete
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • A genuine passion for working with older adults
  • Confidence supervising and supporting care staff

Responsibilities

  • Supporting and guiding care staff during shifts
  • Ensuring residents' personal, physical, and emotional care needs are met
  • Administering medication in line with care plans and training
  • Developing, reviewing, and updating care plans
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Building trusting relationships with residents and their families
  • Promoting inclusion, respect, and person-centred care
  • Leading by example and contributing to a positive team culture

You will play an important role in supporting residents with daily living activities, providing emotional support, and delivering compassionate end-of-life care where required, while working closely with families to ensure they feel involved and part of the Glenholme family.
