Night Care Assistant β Elderly Residential Care Service
Location: Glenholme Healthcare, Thimbleby Court, Horncastle
Salary: Β£12.30 per hour
Job Type: Full Time or Part Time contracts available, alternative weekends
Shifts: Night shifts available, hours discussed at interview

Led by Registered Manager Hazel Whittaker, our friendly and dedicated team is looking for caring individuals to support our residents through the night. Experience is not essential. Full training and ongoing support will be provided, making this a fantastic opportunity to start or grow your career in care.

Thimbleby Court is a welcoming elderly residential care home in the heart of Horncastle. We provide person centred residential care for older adults, supporting individuals with daily living, health needs, and emotional wellbeing in a comfortable, homely setting.
Our focus is on dignity, independence, and quality of life. The night team plays a vital role in ensuring residents feel secure, comfortable, and reassured throughout the night, providing both practical support and emotional comfort.

Your responsibilities as a Night Care Assistant
- Supporting older adults to remain safe, comfortable, and well cared for during the night
- Providing companionship and emotional reassurance
- Supporting with personal care
- Assisting with mobility and repositioning where required
- Overseeing medication and monitoring health needs
- Carrying out light domestic tasks such as preparing drinks or maintaining a tidy environment
- Responding promptly and kindly to residents throughout the night
