Male Support Worker – Learning Disability Service

Location: Glenholme, Hightrees, Enfield, EN2 9AA
Hours: Full-time opportunities available, up to 37.5 hours per week (Day and Night shifts are available)
Hourly Rate: £12.25 – £12.45 per hour (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE) + Paid Training + Health & Wellbeing Benefits + Career Development Opportunities

Competitive Salary Progression or Starting Salary For Those That Already Hold A Qualification:

  • £12.35 per hour upon completion of a fully funded Care Certificate

What You’ll Do:

As a Support Worker, you will help individuals with learning disabilities lead fulfilling and independent lives by promoting choice, inclusion, and dignity.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing companionship and emotional support

  • Assisting with personal care and daily living tasks

  • Teaching and encouraging independent living skills

  • Supporting individuals with medication management

  • Facilitating community-based activities such as swimming, social events, and leisure outings

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with learning disabilities and mental health (essential)
  • A compassionate and patient approach to care
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to supporting independence and dignity
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
