You’ll deliver whole class teaching across the school (both timetabled and ad hoc), support small group learning, and contribute to interventions that help children make the best progress possible. You’ll do this without the formal planning and assessment expectations of a teaching post, but with the same high standard of care, consistency and professionalism.**We’re looking for someone who:*** Has experience as an HLTA, or is confident teaching whole classes when the teacher is not present.* Has strong skills in English and Maths.* Understands primary education well — especially KS2.* Can support our children effectively and contribute to targeted interventions.* Holds high expectations for behaviour, effort and progress (our pupils are polite, caring and well behaved, and we’re proud of that culture).* Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to our school community.* Can be flexible and adaptable (every day in school is a little different!).We would be delighted to show you around Glen Hills.
